Job Summary:
The Telecom Electrician will be responsible for installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems at telecom sites to ensure uninterrupted network availability.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (PM/CM) of electrical equipment
Operate and maintain DG sets, rectifiers, SMPS, batteries (VRLA/Lithium), and power plants
Ensure proper functioning of DBs, breakers, ATS, and changeover switches
Ensure proper earthing and grounding as per telecom standards
Support new site rollout, swap, and expansion activities
Carry out AC/DC cable laying, termination, and dressing
Handle site power alarms and ensure immediate restoration
Follow HSE and electrical safety SOPs and use proper PPE
Update work status in TT systems, SAP, or customer portals
Coordinate with NOC, supervisors, and vendors
Maintain site logs and maintenance records
Matric with relevant telecom electrical experience may be considered
1–3 years experience in telecom field operations
Working Conditions:
Willingness to work shifts, night calls, and emergencies
Travel within assigned region/clusters
